Cookie Notice
How cookies support security, basket and checkout functions
MemoryRevive uses essential browser technologies needed to operate the requested service. It does not enable optional advertising or behavioural tracking by default.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
A cookie is a small text record stored by a web browser. Session storage and similar technologies can serve related purposes. They can keep a basket working, protect a session, prevent fraud, remember a choice or help a requested page function correctly.
2. Essential technologies currently used
The following technologies are necessary for the restoration order journey, guest checkout or secure payment. The exact set can vary with the checkout route and payment features you choose to use.
| Provider and name | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
MemoryRevive session storage: memory-revive-order-state | Remembers the current step and non-file order-form state within the open browser tab. | Browser-tab session |
MemoryRevive session storage: memory-revive-session-token | Holds a short-lived private capability used to associate validated temporary uploads with the order journey. | Browser-tab session; server capability expires separately |
WooCommerce: woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart | Detects basket contents and changes. | Browser session |
WooCommerce: wp_woocommerce_session_* | Uses a random customer code to locate guest basket data on the server. | Normally 2 days |
Stripe: __stripe_mid | Payment-fraud prevention and risk assessment. | Up to 1 year |
Stripe: __stripe_sid | Short-term payment-fraud prevention and risk assessment. | About 30 minutes |
Stripe: m | Payment-fraud prevention and device risk signals. | Up to 2 years |
Stripe can set additional essential authentication, fraud-prevention or payment-method storage when you choose features such as Link or 3-D Secure. Those technologies are controlled by Stripe and are described in Stripe’s current cookie information.
3. Why these do not require an optional marketing choice
These technologies are used to provide a basket, checkout, security or payment function that you request. They are not used by MemoryRevive to build an advertising profile. Information about them is provided here even where consent is not required for a strictly necessary technology.
4. Optional analytics and marketing
MemoryRevive does not enable optional analytics, advertising or cross-site marketing cookies by default. If the website later adds a non-essential technology, it must remain off until an appropriate consent choice has been made. Rejecting an optional technology will not prevent access to restoration, basket or checkout functions, and withdrawing consent will be as straightforward as giving it.
5. Managing browser data
You can remove or block cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Closing the tab clears MemoryRevive’s session-storage entries in normal browser operation. Blocking WooCommerce or Stripe’s essential technologies can empty the basket, prevent secure checkout or stop a chosen payment method from working.
6. Changes and contact
This list is reviewed when the order flow, payment extension or optional website services change. The date above identifies the current version. Questions can be sent to hello@jamestodd.digital. The Privacy Notice explains broader personal-information handling.
